The 'Reach & Vac' System

The concept of this machine comes from a desire to have a vacuum machine that can clean wet, dry, large areas and high level.

We knew what cleaning jobs we wanted to do, but we couldn't find a machine to do it.

What we needed was a high powered vacuum cleaner producing bags of power that would suck up water and sludge indoors, out of doors as well as having sufficient power to reach high levels i.e. Gutter Cleaning.

We also needed a machine that could cope with dusts, powders and big spillages with a long large diameter pipe that could handle big lumps without constantly blocking up.

All in all we needed a machine that would enable us to get on with the job and which we can then move around the site and empty easily.

We consulted with a developement engineer to discuss our needs and eureka the 'Reach & Vac' was born and above all it could do what we wanted with the added benefit that when using the system for high level cleaning you eliminate the need for ladders, it also complies with all current & proposed health & safety legislations.

In wet form the machine is very efficient for cleaning high levels, i.e. gutters, removing water after flood damage and for general warehouse floor cleaning.

In dry form can be used for dry high level cleaning, cleaning in confined areas and for dust control.

As you are probably aware under current & proposed 'Health & Safety Legislation' it is you the owner/occupier who is responsible for ensuring that any work undertaken at your premises conform to all Health & Safety Policies. With regards to gutter cleaning this means that you will have to have ladder ties fixed to buildings above 2 stories (this work must be carried out by a registered installer and you must receive a certificate of compliance). You will also be responsible for having these fixings checked & recorded by an approved examiner on an annual basis.

All this is adding time and expense to your already busy schedule.
